Quality. Keep yourself out of trouble at any level (low, mid or high handicap) and you'll score better.

Hit as many GIR as possible.

Something my coach talks about and something I'd love to try is playing with no pins. Objective is just hit every GIR, law of averages says you'll hit one close and see what you score for 9 holes...

    Maybe one day!

If you’re ever playing behind someone you know…. ask them to leave the flag out.

I read yesterday that on average this saves about 9 strokes per round, as you are forced to aim for the centre of the green.

After this post i scrutinised each hole and I think for sure most shots were lost on putting. Here's a question, if youre putting from off the green do you count it as a putt?

No. Only strokes taken from the green (regardless of club used) count as a putt.

My apologies jumped  in too quick on the racism accusation.  However this also has no relationship to race at all,  in this case the perpetrator phoned in to allege an offence had taken place,  it is irrelevant what offence that was,  when corroborated by others on the scene,  it would not be unusual for officers to attempt an arrest.   It looked to me in those early stagers that he was resisting arrest and was acting as if intoxicated,  not unusual in stabbing cases.

Where I do agree is that the officers were way to slow to recognise the man was in real distress.   I would suggest you read the summing up of the judge if you want to get a balanced view of the actions of the officers involved,  after all he has heard and seen all the evidence,  we have not.

So if the actions of someone who’s been stabbed match those of someone who’s intoxicated… and the person is laying down, in distress, claiming they’ve been stabbed multiple times and saying they can’t breathe, it would be fair to assume they may well have being stabbed. No?

    Wasn’t expecting that .

Very strong punishment and fair on Boro probably .

    Sure Southampton will appeal .

Surely if an appeal is successful, it’ll be a removal of the points deduction.

The EFL can’t re-instate them. It would look extremely weak.

It was a bad decision to let him go.

It was a mistake to not even attempt to replace him and to have a proper succession plan in place.

It was a crime to give his shirt to Awey.

Well that’s not true. Patson Daka has been pretty good

All the above about Harborough is hilarious

so many former City Season ticket holders in the pubs round Harbs have packed in following City and now follow Harborough Town, there is just two divisions between the clubs now and it’s clear that Harborough Town is the biggest draw in town right now for genuine football people

I will also would encourage you all to go in any pub in south Leics when Liverpool are playing and tell me how we aren’t on Merseyside, it’s unbelievable how many 2016-2023 “city” fans have gone back to being Liverpool fans

the club is going to lose a generation of supporters if they are not careful; we need to give free tickets to schools while in league One otherwise we will be spending a decade trying to get the support back

If you (not you) can switch clubs, you’re not really a fan of anything. Just losers who won’t really enjoy anything football related.

Best to take the 2-6pt deduction and ignore PSR if we get promoted. The most important thing is we need guys like VK, Winks, Faes, Mavididi and Vesty gone. They're sucking the life out the club and are toxic to the entire squad, setting awful examples for the future players.

Not to mention they are all absolutely useless.

If we’re staying in league 1 for a few seasons then we can forget about psr

if we intend getting back into the championship within two seasons then we can’t because psr runs on a three year cycle.

Yeah I done think the plan is to stay in League 1, but reality is we’ll be there for a while. Clear the shite and rebuild.

They need to really capitalise on this if they can with the GD being so close between them and Lecce.

Even now, with Cremonese more goals for. Would love Vardy to keep them up now he’s fit again.

Crazy how we’re all more invested in this than our full LCFC season.

From getting a birdie on the hardest hole to getting a 9 on a par 3. Just another day on the course for me today :)

I know the feeling. My new club has 3 par3, all of them very easy to double at least.

    1. SI 18. Plays around 140 over a valley with a bunker at front and back with a green sloping front to back. Wind catches all high pitched shot. Miss at your peril.

    2. Plays 220 from medal tees. Very difficult green, sloping back to front again.

    3. 170-185, raised green, OB right, horrible rough and bunkers leading up to the green.

Any par is a win. Hcps gone up since changing home courses. Greens are rapid but roll true.

  11. As much as we ‘don’t care’

    Remember 15/16

    Remember Cardiff at home

Remember Wembley and Youri (and Kasper)

Remember Vardy at St James and Man Utd (H)

Remember Covid (shite but we were stupidly good before)

    Remember the white scarves

    Remember Bocelli. ANDREA BOCELLI

Rememver Kante, Mahrez, Vardy, Huth, Morgan, Albrighton, Simpson

I don’t care anymore, but this past 10 years have given me memories I cannot forget.

Top needs to go, but his ambition (who knows what that was), was not to put us where we are now.

Remember the good times… because a few years before we had a midfield of Tiatto and Williams
