This lads going right to the very top - What an attitude! What a Machine!

Well if he doesn't see us play again live he's had a great Leicester City watching career.
He definitely saw us win the Premier League as he was there for the Charity Shield game the August after.
He was there first in the queue and was wearing a Leicester City Kings Crown.
I wonder how many Bernie stories there are out there?
I mentioned before that I caught him when he fell off a wall at Blackpool - I quickly put him down though

Its an uncomfortable truth for some but you take the 40 or so UFS lads out of it today and it would have been dire.
Did the bottom tier sing?
Great to hear UFS doing us proud again.

Good side and a few called it. I was thinking Maddison but appreciate Lookman and Barnes upfront with Vardy will hopefully cause them some real problems.
I think we played Maddison in the middle and he went out to the right at Brighton and it didn't work.

We find out what the club thought about it on Wednesday night.
I was in a focus group last week and bigged UFS up.
Said you've done a great job regarding the stadium atmosphere and the charitable initiatives such as the food bank and that me and the lad are thinking of moving from the Family Stand to join you next season.

I know, the attendances were shocking back then when I look back, but it wasn't just a Leicester thing, it was a football in general thing. The funny thing is, we still used to have some cracking atmospheres down there even with such few numbers. I have to say, although football probably needed the premier league and sky money to get it going again, I loved those old pre premier league days. Getting relegated in those days was a knock to the pride but it didnt threaten the future of a club, the way it did with us 2002, and other clubs too. Football seems so much more serious these days, where winning and being successful is everything. Back in the 70s when I started going down the city, up until the premier league era, it seemed so much more fun. A time when you could wake up on the day of a game and just rock up and get in. When you were down the pub on a Friday night and one of your mates suggested going to the citys away game the next day, and you all piled into a van the next morning and headed to whatever part of the country we were playing in, for what we would know would be a great day out regardless of the result. None of this, having to buy a ticket in advance malarkey, and paying a kings ransom for the privilege. Oh happy days!
Yes I used to love the drunken chats in the pub on a Friday night discussing where 'The City' were playing and formulating a plan with military precision even though everyone was more than half cut and then the subsequent brave few carrying it out the next day
At home games I'd have a couple flaming sambucas' before the game and in you'd go wherever you fancied on the day

I came away from the Villarreal game thinking the injury to Fofana could be pivotal and unfortunately it has been.
We were purring for the first 60 minutes in that game and it feels to me as though we've been knocked off course ever since.
I'm just hoping we can stay in their into January get one or two new signings and get the first 11 out for the remainder of the season and come with a late charge

This is the sort of game that always appeals to me i.e Southampton's a nice little city, its a reasonable trip, good atmosphere, they generally have a pretty good team and play good football and if we play well there's a good chance we'll get something from the game.
Me and the lad will be there

Emile was absolutely immense for us.
Generally speaking if people jump on the bandwagon saying he was crap, poor for England etc I tend think they know nothing about football.
Some days he was more or less unplayable around 96 / 97
I've put him in my team on the left as we tended to boot the ball out to him and he'd often peal off of the left and cause absolute havoc

I was at the back on P1 and people were either joining in or clapping along.
The atmosphere was far superior than what you would have expected for that sort of game and the quite poor football performance.

Tbh think we’ve been quite generous. Thought there were a few 4 star performers out there! Bertrand, Daley-Campbell, Vestegaard, KDH, Choudhury, Thomas all had nights to forget.
Yes I've gone for a 3 for the worst player (Vestergaard - He's so weak physically and positionally) and quite a few 4's as there were some really poor performances - I agree the names above
How many staked a claim to be considered for the game on Saturday? Daka only in my view - There were the odd sparks from Lookman and Barnes but overall I thought they were average

How did the singing section sound?
UFS were great getting behind the team and individual players & the Family Stand responded well.
Kept a very dull game interesting.
Definitely a positive move for The Kop and Family Stand being moved.

Well I know some aren't but I'm up for this one.
The opportunity to get into the Quarter Final of the League Cup
Great chance to see the full depth of our squad and hopefully there'll be a fitting tribute to the Great Man Vichai.

A newish one I'm really not keen on
I've run out of things to say ........... long may it continue.

My first one is truly awful.
On the day Claudio became our manager in July 2015 I said 'well that's us relegated then'.
I think that is unabsolvable .......... hail Mary, hail Mary, hail Mary

Just because you write something does not mean that it is true - Puel dropped Vardy on more than one occasion

Effect of results on our mood?
in Leicester City Forum

I thought as I grew older and now that we've had real success in the last few years I wouldn't be so affected by our results.
If anything I'm getting even more mardy and after a bad result I can't watch MOTD, I'm not interested in anything pertaining to the Premier League and I'm a proper mardy git for days
After the Arsenal result I'd still not recovered by the Moscow game which again didn't help my mood - I can just about rationalise that the Leeds result wasn't too bad.
The International Break doesn't help although the England games do help with my insomnia
