He seemed to take it very personally.  Still mentioning it years later in some interviews…

Love the man but I always thought he used that to his advantage . I can't even remember many being that anti O'Neil that day but other's assure me that was the case 🤷‍♂️

I remember the boos. Sheffield United at home, wasn’t it?

Yes some where aimed at O'Neil but it was also a protest at the board. If anyone remembers they invited 6 fans to go into the board room to talk to O'Neil and the board ( imagine them doing that now 😅) One of my mates was picked and he explicitly told O'Neil that he and alot of other fans where more unhappy with the board than the manager.

Same old vitriol here, was hoping for something better. I went to the match and it was good to see Claudio and the players. They put everything into it in that sweltering heat for the love of the fans. They cared.
Lots of laughs and positivity.. so glad the fans there supported the team from 15/16.

Back in the day we fund raised for the Vichai banner and took a lot of time and effort to get the banner up.  We went up to check on it today. He’d be proud of the lads who made an appearance today.

Looks as good as the day it was made, they don't make flags of that quality anymore. 😉

    I went to that

    Wasn't Higuota in goal ?

Can't remember who their goalie was, but can remember a shot hitting Friar lanes goalkeeper so hard that it forced him over the goal line while still holding the ball 🤣

Think the final score was 10 - 0 but not hundred percent sure .

Walkers back in it's rightful place would be a winner

Walkers ( PepsiCo) are in a big cost cutting faze so doubt they'd fork out for sponsorship.

They even cancelled the staff Xmas party 😂

    County Cup Final

    Quorn 2 - 0 Loughborough Students

Although Holmes Park has lost its sparkle and immaculate playing service, and the old Westerby Cup is no longer the pull for some clubs, it’s always nice to finish with Silverware, the second in two seasons wrapping another hugely successful season.

With a budget of peanuts and everyone’s tip to go down, keeping the squad together for next season will be a challenge. Expect Goodson, Bello & Frizelle to receive good money offers elsewhere.

My daughter played there the other week, couldn't believe how bad the pitch was . Seen better surfaces on council pitches 🤷‍♂️

Is that Andy Rudkin who has commented on UFS' latest instagram post related to Jon?

    Laughable.

Just had a look, that has to be his brother 🤣

What a day. What a night. Got loads of the little rats 🐀 in personal inbox on all platforms acting like little brave keyboard warriors. What they don't understand is the ones in my inbox vrs me on my own is not enough. Youre gonna need to get a few more of you together and each of you will still have to ring your mates. Like ive said and I'll repeat so no one gets it mistaken...

Youre entitled to your opinion and your silly little embarrassing protests. But youve had your say to long and everyone has kept quite to long while you lot have turned the club into a joke. Youre welcome in my inbox and to give me grief. I love the debate. But I aint khun top or John rudkin, Im not here to take your potty little mouths in my inbox!! Im a reasonable human being and while i might not like what people say I'll respect it. Like I say though im not top or rudkin and I don't give a fcuk or have to worry about media. You're welcome to have a chat but come at me with threats and potty mouth and I'll feel no way about what happens next. You dont know me. You'll learn I dont lose the war ever and the battle is all I know

Frustratingly it’s not going to happen today.
I’ve called to speak to them to see what else they could do today - but nothing doing.

    Really disappointing.

However, the main guy (Bob) will do it this Friday and will fly around for longer as per the screenshot.

One thing the club have done really well since 2015, is that they’ve sanitised the matchday experience and I really think that’s why we have so few fans protesting. The profile of fan who would be protesting ultimately either got priced out, banned or left a while ago when the club took its current direction, and don’t have the motivation to engage. Look at the amount of local lads that now follow the likes of Coalville, Harborough, Quorn etc. These are the ones that would be leading big protests, but they’re not bothered and for good reason. Because the club planted the seeds so that if this sort of situation did happen, they’d be safe from the sort of people that would hold them to account.

Bang on,  I've attended  a few Harboro and Nomads games this season and type that would be in the kop singing and contributing to the atmosphere are now moving to Non league.

Last week between they had an attendance of over 1500 including a lot of young lads priced out of the professional game .

It does seem that after riding the wave of the great escape and winning the league, Ranieri went back to being a poor manager once he got his own way

I'm sorry but it what world is Ranieri a poor manager  ? Not world class admittedly but good, OK, or maybe adequate at worst .

Also you'd need to find a new word for our last few managers as they were definitely poor !

And exactly how do you suggest we ensure that whoever buys the Club isn't a worse 'fraud', who uses borowed money for the purchase, which he then secures against the Club, before asset stripping whatever's left and b*ggering off?

Ahh, the old be careful what you wish for, which ones next ? We were in league one ?
