what stand was this in please?

It was all of them. And it wasn’t just the older generation. Young and old, men and women, and it was thousands - applauding his every touch to show everyone just how loyal a supporter they are by applauding the player who has actively taken the mick out of the club for 70% of this season.

Was the banner readable by those in the ground or was the writing too small?

Great work anyway, and a stroke of luck that that Top was here to witness it. We’ll done and thanks to all involved 👍👍

Readable and noticeable by all going in and those in the ground.

  3. If the club had any balls, they would be issuing a press release tonight to say that they acknowledge the precarious position our club finds itself in, with three games to go and requiring 9 points for survival. They would say that they understand that there is a lot of anger, and questions that need answers. They would acknowledge that there have been serious failures both on and off the pitch that have led to this position. But that we absolutely have to win at all costs on Tuesday to keep the hope alive. That they need a packed stadium and support. And the only way to do this is to refund all ticket holders the cost of their ticket, and return 1/23rd of STH tickets. That all remaining tickets are available for a £5 donation to charity. And that beer will be given out up to and including kick off in and out of the stadium. And that they will be no pre match montage as they let the atmosphere build for the biggest game of our recent history.

and even then I don’t think that would even go as far as they need to go to try and get people on side for Tuesday.

but they won’t because they are cowards who will pretend this isn’t happening until it does. Even though it’s basically already done.

  4. I would suggest that both clubs are seeing how the next few days go to see what the likelihood either team will be relying on this game for survival before confirming both allocation and prices.

In theory, if it's important for us, but not for them, they know that the home end will be derelict and will give Leicester bigger allocations. If it's important for them, they might not give us as much etc.

  5. The sausage roll t-shirt, amongst the the other new arrival t-shirts, are all print on demand - no stock is actually held, but when you place an order it gets printed and sent from the printer directly to the customer.

This is what business’ do when they can’t afford new stock and want to sell without risk. This, along with the terrible designs that look either AI generated, or something a first year college student would put together, says our new commercial director isn’t worth his salt and isn’t investing in design or good product.

  6. If we go down, we will be the second most expensive season ticket, behind Luton (assuming Cardiff go up).

Correction - not sure what season this is from but a good benchmark.

    Exeter City – £199
    Stevenage – £220
    Shrewsbury Town – £225
    Cambridge United – £239
    Burton Albion – £249
    Leyton Orient – £250
    Port Vale – £250
    Northampton Town – £259
    Blackpool – £269
    Wigan Athletic – £275
    Lincoln City – £279
    Peterborough United – £289
    Barnsley – £299
    Bristol Rovers – £309
    Charlton Athletic – £310
    Reading – £319
    Bolton Wanderers – £330
    Huddersfield Town – £349
    Stockport County – £350
    Wycombe Wanderers – £350
    Plymouth Argyle – £359
    Rotherham United – £360
    Oxford United – £365
    Blackburn Rovers – £375

    Leicester City - £404
    Cardiff City – £409*
    Luton Town – £430

  7. Most other clubs will have an agreement that they will take the upper tier, with the lower on standby so that the second the upper tier sells out they can release the lower tier seamlessly.

We can’t make that agreement as someone needs to ask Top if it’s ok, and then we haven’t bothered communicating with staff so that when people call up for tickets they can let them know that it will be on sale shortly once released, instead we’ve been telling supporters sorry that’s it - there’s no plan to take them. Which makes us look ridiculous if we then do take them.

  8. Was my MOTM last night - put a massive shift in, read the game very well and was solid both at the back and moving forwards.

Needs consistency but so much more promising from him.

There's nothing at all to suggest that we'll get promoted next season - if anything we're far less likely than we were this time around to be successful.

This is it for me - we came down with Ipswich and Southampton - Ipswich had a wobble but in all likelihood will probably end up as champions. Southampton have been as awful as we have. If we were going for promotion next year (unlikely anyway without major overhaul), we are up against three teams coming down who I believe will be far more equipped to go straight back up. Wolves will be preparing for the drop and have a much more talented squad, even if they lose a few players. Whoever else comes down has put up much more of a fight than either of us or Southampton did last year.
