But that we absolutely have to win at all costs on Tuesday to keep the hope alive. That they need a packed stadium and support. And the only way to do this is to refund all ticket holders the cost of their ticket, and return 1/23rd of STH tickets. That all remaining tickets are available for a £5 donation to charity. And that beer will be given out up to and including kick off in and out of the stadium. And that they will be no pre match montage as they let the atmosphere build for the biggest game of our recent history. and even then I don’t think that would even go as far as they need to go to try and get people on side for Tuesday. but they won’t because they are cowards who will pretend this isn’t happening until it does. Even though it’s basically already done.

I would suggest that both clubs are seeing how the next few days go to see what the likelihood either team will be relying on this game for survival before confirming both allocation and prices. In theory, if it's important for us, but not for them, they know that the home end will be derelict and will give Leicester bigger allocations. If it's important for them, they might not give us as much etc.

There are only 1300 tickets in the lower tier - if they were that concerned, send out a poll to all STH and members who haven't yet brought tickets to vote if they are likely to purchase and then get them if they are that tight.

Most other clubs will have an agreement that they will take the upper tier, with the lower on standby so that the second the upper tier sells out they can release the lower tier seamlessly. We can’t make that agreement as someone needs to ask Top if it’s ok, and then we haven’t bothered communicating with staff so that when people call up for tickets they can let them know that it will be on sale shortly once released, instead we’ve been telling supporters sorry that’s it - there’s no plan to take them. Which makes us look ridiculous if we then do take them.

They would all immediately recruit externally. This shows that Top is far too loyal, embarrassingly out of his depth, naive, or all of the above. We are clinging onto staying in this division on a hope and a prayer.

Last night was the moment we will all look back on at the end of the season and beyond as a defining moment for our club. Whether we avoid the drop (unlikely), bounce back up, stay a decade in League 1, or simply go out of business, last night will be the significant moment we all will remember.

This is it for me - we came down with Ipswich and Southampton - Ipswich had a wobble but in all likelihood will probably end up as champions. Southampton have been as awful as we have. If we were going for promotion next year (unlikely anyway without major overhaul), we are up against three teams coming down who I believe will be far more equipped to go straight back up. Wolves will be preparing for the drop and have a much more talented squad, even if they lose a few players. Whoever else comes down has put up much more of a fight than either of us or Southampton did last year.
