Not paying players in accord with their contract to would lead to a registration embargo. The players would be able to claim justification in ripping up their contracts and leaving claiming sporting just cause. Players leaving would have to have their values impaired putting even greater pressure on the numbers.
Football creditors , which is how unpaid players are classified would be treated in preference to all other creditors. but more of an issue would be that with out protection of an insolvency event my guess would be that the club would expelled from the EFL.
So, as you articulate a rather more positive outcome than we currently anticipate 😹.

My hunch: in the summer we'll stop/reduce payments to players, in breach of contract. The better players will immediately go elsewhere (if they can get anyone to sign them) but unpaid wages stay as a debt on the club. Some players will stay in the hope of a financial recovery and the chance that unpaid amounts are eventually paid. E.g. Luke Thomas' agent needs to tell him there's little chance of getting his £30k pw over the next 3 years. But if he walks when LCFC breach his contract, where does he go (Cov?)... And for how much in wages (little)?

Sadly, this is symbolic of our club. He was, is and always will be a toxic knob. We sacrificed a progressing Page to bring this malignant piece of 💩 back into the fold.

I think Rudkin should take charge for the last 3 games. He is largely responsible for assembling some of the worse characters - laughably described as professional footballers - the English Football pyramid has ever seen.
He clearly believes they are “talented” hence it’s only fair and reasonable he should stand up and be counted.

Get the **** out of our club. I actually hate you Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha.
This so called man has single handedly destroyed the club with the decisions and choices he has made. Hate and rage are not strong enough words I have for him. Our club will not recover with him remaining as owner.

How was anyone expecting anything different. The evidence of his limitations are a matter of public record. He took Birmingham down and would have taken Oxford down yet, yet our dear leader thought he was the answer.

Lenin/Mao/Kim Jong vibes
A statue recognising his achievements and reflecting the manner of his death were the right thing do. It should however have been located in the memorial garden.
No surprise his idiot son would choose a scale and location that was not at all appropriate.

Can't believe despite your PTS deduction, why you're in a relegation battle.
Fair play to Oxford, they're bang in form.
It looks between Pompey, Leicester and Blackburn for the two relegation spots.
Blackburn have a tough run in.
Anyway lads, wish you good luck, and fingers crossed Blackburn and Oxford go down with the Wednesday .
If it's ok with the admin on here then I'd like to plug my Pompey message board, and invite you to sign up and share your views about the Pompey v Leicester match .
We're a friendly bunch and your opinions will be welcome
Nice post thank you, good to see camaraderie between rivals is still alive and kicking, unlike our football team, we’re dead and we only await the funeral march of relegation.

Suspiciously eloquently worded, from the bloke who brought us "we promote next season"

I think this is the end. Everything is rotten to the core. There is nothing positive. The finances are a disaster. Most of the support is complicit. We have no identity, obsessed with this style. A pathetic mentality. I don’t see the club ever returning from this. We will likely be the first major city without a football club. Maybe it’s a summary of the total decline and demise of football. We maybe have one year at best but unless these clowns get lucky with a manager there will be no promotion back. 1884-2026 Leicester City FC
If it means the end of King Power and Aiyatwatt I can just about live with this. I know it is a terrible to think let alone write down but there is no way back with this regime remaining in charge.

Should've benched Mukasa right after his cock-up, just to show that there are no free lunches at this club. Same with Vestergaard, he was so abject all game long. This crew deserves every bit of derision they get; and they don't get enough of it.
Rowett was never the answer but he also wasn’t the problem in the first place.
I expect Dufkin and Aiwyatwatt to sack him before the seasons out, more deflection incoming. Problem is they can’t get out this mess now - they have destroyed the club. All our rage should directed at them and them alone.

Absolutely in despair. Losing at home to Swansea in a game we had to win is sickening. This is all on Aiyatwatt and Rudkin. Ten years after the greatest achievement in our history, these two fvcking idiots have dragged Leicester City into a full-scale collapse. A £71m loss, nearly £6m to agents (without spending a single penny on a transfer fee), a six-point deduction upheld, and a squad of weak minded misfits lacking in fight. It is shocking. What I hate is not just the incompetence but the contempt behind the constant attempts to pretend everything is under control - read the FAB minutes. They have run our club into the ground. Disgraceful doesn’t even begin to describe it.

This is the worst side in the history of Leicester City Football Club. Let that sink in.
Genuinely numb.

I have faith that Top and Rudkin will make the long drawn out, considered and, ultimately incorrect choice.
