In case he doesn't fulful his potential and we (somehow) end up back in the Premier League. Not all 16 year old transfers work out do they, look at Bostock.
And why would a bigger club in Arsenal agree to that?

A sell on clause or even buy back clause would be nice to have for once.
Buy back clause? When selling a kid to Arsenal

So pleased we don't have to watch Crawley anymore, rather see Gay take a bit of time to reach 50 then Crawley score 20 quickly

Leeds United are considering taking legal action against Leicester City as the Elland Road club explore how the Foxes’ Profitability and Sustainability Rules’ issues affected two of their seasons, according to The Times. Leeds got relegated in 2022-23 alongside Leicester, while the Foxes gained automatic promotion back to the Premier League in 2023-24, with the West Yorkshire club losing in the play-offs. Leicester were docked six points last season after they were charged by the Premier League for breaking spending thresholds in 2023-24. They won an appeal against an alleged breach of PSR regulations for the 2022-23 season in September 2024, arguing that the Premier League had acted outside of its jurisdiction.
Leeds believe they could have stayed up in both seasons and will look to draw parallels from Burnley’s compensation victory over Everton earlier this month. The Clarets argued that they would have avoided Premier League relegation in 2022 had the Everton’s six-point punishment for breaking PSR been applied during the season of the breach (2022-23) and not in 2023-24. The Toffees have been ordered to pay Burnley almost £40 million, and Leeds are hoping to get a similar compensation from Leicester.
This part doesn't make sense anyway, but also they'd of still gone down they'd of just finished above us when we both went down in 22/23 and even a 6 point deduction in 23/24 would of had them still in third

That save by Courtois

I imagine he'll do okay in League One simply due to us being the biggest side, but after that we're basically hoping he's learnt some kind of lesson following the awful Rangers gig

Good finish

Rehan should be in the side

Hate him but think he will get us promoted tbh.
This is pretty much my thinking, also massive doubts about how well he'd do if we do go up
-
Yeah League One under Rowett is an awful thought, be like Cooper all over again with his rod on for experience

contractually?
Yes it's as simple as not picking him, or would you prefer he continues picking up any bonuses associated to playing on top of his wages?
