Tielemans u23s for the rest of the season. We are now worse with him in the side, he's checked out. Soyuncu also benched for the rest of the season if Fofana comes back.

Stay up if we can and then spend in the close season behind a new vision.

Soumare is not a good signing is he. Excels at nothing. I don't know what we saw in him. Pace, tackling, closing, passing?

The Villareal game felt a little bit like the Sunderland game and the disintegration that immediately followed it all wrapped up in one moment for me.

We started like a train, passing amazingly, confidence pace and defending on the front foot. 

When Fofana got injured every crack in the squad and the confidence of the players suddenly became a chasm. I think the disintegration we see now all stems back to that one game and that one moment where you could see the peak happening and passing in front of your eyes 

Rodgers has serious limitation which becomeore.apparrnt over time

We are on track to concede 100 goals this season which is basically gross negligence on behalf of the coaching staff and management with the squad we have. Rodgers or his defensive and coaching staff have to go to signify it's not acceptable. 

A comeback won't paper over these cracks.

I think Rodgers needs to go after this. It's not acceptable. He's developed a team of passes who like it all their own way.

I would take Soyuncu off. He's like a man with PTSD still from the euros.

I think the overhaul will be quite extensive.

Youri will sadly go in order that we get to channel wage funds into keeping some others.

I also think Soyuncu will go just on a Capability basis. We shouldn't take less than £25m.

From the fringe I think we will actively look to move vestergaard, Bertrand, praet, mendy and Perez - yielding about £30m

Ward I think will also go taking the total to about £60m

This should help us stave off any interest in Ndidi, JJ, Fofana or Barnes.

I DO think Castagne will go. He will be injured pretty much into April so may well struggle to be front of mind for a big transfer fee in the summer. We surely wouldn't let him go for under £25-30m or it would be better to keep him.

I think we should bring in Tarkowski to ease the Evans transition and he's out of contract. Berardi as he's been chased for so long, Lookman as he's been a good squad player and contributor on loan.

This will still leave us light at least a first choice left back, reserve centre back and two  very competitive midfielders.

Net position will be 9 players leaving the main squad and 7 coming in,  with circa £80m coming in and £100m going out of the door. As a circa 30% churn of the squad  I think that would constitute a 'major overhaul' and would shift the power base to Kasper, JJ, Fofana, Ndidi, Dewsbury-Hall Maddison, Barnes, Daka as the spine of the squad.

The below would work well for me. Continue Justin's comeback but bring Ricardo on later in the game.

Iheanacho has to start in the FA Cup for me  it's his tournament. Save Barnes and Lookma  for later in the game too and we will have too much for them.

We seem to lack imagination in the jan window these days. Huth and Tielemans were great examples of immeasurably improving the side without breaking the bank in jan. To sign no one would smack of arrogance to me given how light we are. Any of the names CBS  would improve our depth. Kouyate, Sarr, Jones....whoever. they don't even necessarily need to play, just offer competition.
