Nowhere in this thread has there been an ounce of trust in Enzo and his judgement of the player. If he wants him, he thinks he can come here and A) - Stay fit and B) - Be effective in the roles we need him in. He could come here and snap his ACL in his first turn at the KP/Seagrave. He could also be an absolute revelation. Pointless to speculate. Facts are these - Fully fit and playing regularly we've absolutely NO business signing him and he wouldn't even pick the phone up to us. Fitness and style wise, Enzo clearly thinks he can manage it and that he's part of the puzzle we need. Abit of trust and lets see where it gets us. GERRIMIN.

Has to be Justin for me. Sakamoto is in an absolute purple patch for them and he will be licking his lips facing a player who's played very little football in the last few months. On the ball Doyle looked every bit as good as before the injury, however, he is still quite clearly some way off 100%. A couple of times in transition and recovering he looked really laboured against Milwall.

Probably pretty close to what Spurs fans were saying about Harry Winks and look what he's done since arriving.....

Put it this way.. Without that injury record there is absolutely no chance, infact less than zero chance, that he considers Leicester City in the EFL Championship. There's a reason this might work for both parties, if we can keep him fit, whether that be through clever usage/rotation or just improved medical facilities or a fresh look on his programming etc we get a fantastic footballer miles above this level. For Sensi, he gets a prolonged run of games/minutes and the chance to play in the Premier League should we sustain our current trajectory. Low cost, short term deal with options for the club and incentives for the player and this seems like a calculated risk well worth taking IMO.

His performances in a City shirt have been well below par, however Soumare is the one player I’d have been really keen to see under Enzo and the recall now Wilf is crocked is surely something we’d explore?!

After everything he did in our shirt whilst number 1 that contributed to our relegation, you just know he will go to Sheffield United, pull off a string of worldy performances and keep them in the division.

I certainly wish I’d have learned to be a footballer as well as he has! 😂

Went to Sporting in the summer after being linked to Arsenal, Newcastle amongst others. Can't imagine him coming here unless his development stalls massively.

Watching this it’s absolutely no surprise that Cannon hasn’t had anything but cameo 10 minute appearances thus far. Offered absolutely zero, especially in terms of linking the play and creating space for the wide players. Night and Day up there from the previous few weeks which goes to show just how much that position in the system has an effect on the wider patterns of play. Daka gets absolutely hammered on here but he’s undoubtedly made us a better side going forward and it’s very noticeable on today’s performance.
