That’s the end of the road for one hell of a season, congratulations to Leicester for winning the league you deserve it. Leeds, Leeds are falling apart again
-
Having watched a lot of both teams this year the answer is definitely yes
-
Now it’s our turn to eff it up! Could all 3 of us go 2 games without scoring? Probably! I think Boro win today aswell
-
We won’t win the league, we might come second. We will probably come third. we would need to win the majority of our games remaining to do the first two and without my blue tinted glasses on I don’t see it. there’s still a lot of twists and turns in this yet and Leicester will have their moment they just need to take it

Your squad is worth I don’t know how many times ours 4? 5? Probably more tbh and it’s the same with saints and Leeds yet you feel the need to want Ipswich players injured because we won’t go away? you won’t find anyone hoping winks gets hurt so we can keep on trying to reel you in on TWTD

I don’t really agree with Ipswich being overly lucky, we might score more late deflected goals than Leicester do but that’s probably because we’re having to push for a goal late in the game more than you are combined with a good attitude to keep going till the whistle. In contrast we haven’t had a single penalty this year and have been subject to the same amount of bad luck/ poor decisions as everyone else. overall we are above where I thought we would be (9th) and will probably lose in the playoffs to Leeds/wba but I’m confident that we can regroup and go again next year without three ridiculously consistent teams around! Good luck for the last stretch but I don’t think you will need it and for what it’s worth I enjoy watching maresca ball

Thank you, we are where we are on merit and as far as all the metrics go we deserve to be up there with you, I meant more on finance, expectations, experience etc we’re probably 7 places above the average of what most towns optimistically hoped for this year. I personally hoped for playoffs so I like most town fans are in dreamland so far. as far as Asia cup goes we’re likely to lose burgess and luongo, so big misses but we’re hopeful tuanzebe will fill the gap at the back and Taylor can do a job covering in midfield but if we get another injury then we could be in trouble. The biggest miss for us is if morsy goes off with Egypt, he is the heartbeat of the team and sets really high standards and can’t be effectively replaced. if I don’t come back here before hope u all have a good Xmas and a terrible Boxing Day!

You won’t find many town fans who are pissed off, we shouldn’t be where we are so the vast majority are just enjoying the ride. Don’t forget we did this last year so it might just be our lot to be the second best team in a league but il take it

We’ve been really poor, but looks like WBA have worked on how to snuff us out and fair play to them they’ve done an absolute job on us
-
Should be a cracking game tonight! There are a lot of temporary foxes fans tuning in tonight hoping you can do a job on leeds

Sorry to be pedantic but the blue stripes are on the flag to symbolise the stripes on the tallit, a traditional Jewish prayer shawl

It would be annoying but I could live with it

It’s not frustrating at all, we were abit pissed to be behind Plymouth all last year but to be second in the championship first time round behind Leicester and ahead of Leeds.. it’s dream land stuff. We have a really hard December, if we can keep our run going till then and do ok in December then hopefully we’ll get through it but I can deffo see you guys pulling away over the festive period. For a few minutes today we closed right in on you with the game in hand but hey ho you always seem to find a way like all the good teams
-
Great result for Ipswich and a good one for Leicester too, the more we can both keep taking points off the pack the better, good luck tonight against Preston I hope you win and I think you could put 3 or 4 past them. I saw a post a few back mentioning how we will drop away when injuries occur etc, worth mentioning we haven’t had our first choice keeper all season, Broadhead has missed two on the trot and our vice captain evans is out long term. There is a good chance we could lose burgess, luongo and morsy in jan to international tournaments which will be a blow especially without evans to come in so we will see what happens

Good morning, visiting tractor boy in peace! I have always had a soft spot for Leicester and being a town fan growing up in Nottingham I have a healthy dislike for derby and forest. I have had the pleasure of seeing our two teams play some cracking games over the years ( my personal fav is the game in the snow in 2010 ) last year town were involved in a 3 way title race in which we just about came up short to Plymouth who deserved the title, our main aim was promotion and we recruited really well to do that, our squad has carried over into this season really well, case in point our 4 scorers on sat were all January transfers. im looking forward to hopefully another successful season although I appreciate our idea of success is different than yours, I will be very surprised and disappointed if Leicester do not win the league and probably have Leeds second. although I do hope we can hang onto your coat tails and nab second! in response to the OP the standard of this league seems to have dropped from when we were relegated a few years back, a few very strong teams but most quite poor overall. the old championship thing where any team could win or lose 4-0 on a given day seems to be gone. Good luck for the year and I look forward to seeing you on Boxing Day hopefully in the snow again
