    Cheers mate.

I think it gets confusing on the part my lads are too young to have their own online accounts and I am season ticket holder. So not sure how their system at the club would work if an under 8 got a ballot ticket and then matching that up to me buying an away ticket as sth on the priority day etc.

Yeah that sounds a right game tbf.  My feeling is the system probably wont account for situations like that as they have age limits dont they.  Iv had red warning messages saying this supporter is too young to be buying a ticket alone...til i add mine

Am I correct in saying that under 16's are unable to access any away ticket ballots?

When i was a member i was able to enter myself and my daughter into the  ballot together (she was 13 14 and 15 at those times ) but that was me as the lead supporter requesting tickets for us both if we were successful- she was named on the ballot see an old screen shot attached.Screenshot_20260408_145630_com_google_android_gm_MailActivityGmail2.thumb.jpg.d160acab59d1fa92af29521da0152f51.jpg) Im not sure if she would have been accepted just her as we never tried.  Not sure if thats a lot of help, sorry.

I have a big problem with the searches and to be honest it comes down to one thing - consistency.

It drives me up the wall that we're demonised as home fans by our own club but I can look past it, if it's applied consistently.

Nutters going on a rampage is only an acceptable example if they're searching everyone, but they're not, and that's my big issue. One steward said he is told to search every five people, though I've watched as I've been walking round to the kop and that is not applied. West stand I watched one steward search everyone.

So what is it? What is the actual approach they're taking to protect people from the nutters?

If you want to search people make no exceptions, search everyone and then you can say it's to 'stop nutters rampaging'. Otherwise at the minute you have this mish mash approach of one area doing everyone, one area claiming to do every five people and it lacking in any sort of sense or actual reassuring safety.

You make a fair point that it should be everyone.  I can't really argue with that and i do think it should be everyone.....at football and other events where there are large crowds.

Ive got used to the digital tickets , and im 55!

The searches just labels us all as thugs and probably epitomises everything wrong with football in general.

Ive got no problems being searched at football.  You expect it at concerts/events to hopefully prevent nutters (the odd one granted) going on a rampage with a knife or blowing up a load of people.  This is no different and nothing to do with how the club is being run.

At sheff weds yesterday there were a number of bins lined up outside the ground labelled drugs, knives, alcohol etc.  I would hazard a guess that if these items hadn't previously been found or seized from people there wouldn't be specific bins for them.

Word on Wednesday’s support. Not many clubs would still draw in a crowd of 24k and have an atmosphere like they did yesterday. The early goal set the tone for both sets of fans.

Agree.  At one point all 3 of their stands were joining in at same time.

It was a weird one yesterday.   Pub was good, plenty of life, singing on walk to ground too.  I said to my daughter looks like it will be a good one today.....then very flat in the stands once they scored

    No me neither.

It's hardly an anthem and most only know the last line.

    Its woeful

I quite like WYS but take the point that not everyone knows the words.  However my personal favourite is Tw#t your sh#t aahhhhhh.  Its a real throw back to the 80s and im not sure ive heard any other teams do it lately.

Pretty funny me and my bro trying to explain it to our american guests 😂 .  Basically i couldn't

  7. Ive noted a couple on here say they live in sheffield so wanted an opinion as to whether the following is realistic or will be a faff.

Going with my daughter who wants to do meadowhall too.  So after some (brief) research i plan to park all day at meadowhall and get yellow line tram which i think runs direct between meadowhall and hillsborough. Realistic?

Surely it's time to get FoxesTrust / UFS / other supporters groups involved ASAP as to what the club are playing at.

Agree.  The trust are there to represent fans and air their concerns.  I think members who have joined the Trust should contact them.

Im fortunate (or maybe not 😂) Ive got my ticket, but ive been a member in the past and know how frustrating it can be to miss out on aways, especially when its such an easy problem to resolve on this occasion.  Request the lower tier.....thats it!! That's all they have to do!  It makes no sense to me at all and despite wracking my brain i cannot think of any reason why they wouldn't.

And purely from an individual view, id much rather be part of a big away following.  Its better all round

I am trying to do this today. Is it usual for you to be completely unable to get hold of the ticket office on the day of a game?? I've rang 14 times and no answer everytime

Last home game i went in L1 despite my ST being in Sk1.  I just checked the ticket website to see what seats were free in L1 and walked round the concourse and used that seat . Might be worth you doing that, dependant on the concourse layout and on where you want to move from and to. Saves you trying the ticket office over and over.  Im pretty sure there will be free seats together in most parts of the ground these days.

My brother having same issue, deleted the Bristol one hoping it would update, now nothing in wallet and won't let him redownload his season ticket. Did you sort yours

    .

  11. Short notice but struggling for tonight so 1 adult and 1 under 16 available.  Sk1 standing.  £ 20 the pair.

Do it official, transfer them through the website.

    Message me if interested

Ive been in L1 since the beginning and its awful.

Used to be the place to go but nowadays its absolutely  shit, just like the rest of the ground.

A couple of renditions of Gary Rowetts B & W army and that's it.

Wish id taken in the nights and days of the rocking intense atmospheres we had years ago as it just seems surreal nowadays to this dross

Yeah i started in L1 when we moved grounds.  It was best part of the ground for a good while but as you say, its died off.......but they aren't on there own tbf
