The relegation last year was confirmed weeks before, but the whole ground sold out in minutes when Ipswich was announced as his final game. There’s very few players in any club’s history who achieve that level of legendary status.

Great to still see shirts out and about in the areas surrounding the city. Wigston is very Leicester. Fleckney has its fair share of support as well.

Champions at Preston.

There surely can’t be another fanbase in the country (at least top two divisions) which is as fractured at the moment.
-
The attendance figure against Millwall clearly wasn’t the ‘actual’ attendance, but assuming it included every one of the 22.5k season ticket holders, along with the 3.2k of away support, surely that would mean roughly 3k tickets were sold in the home areas? Unless that’s wide of the mark?

For a player who’s been out for 16 months, Souttar’s performance on Friday was very good. The type of defensive display we’ve missed all season, so it’s a real shame he only featured in the last home game. If we can keep him for League One, and he stays injury free, that would almost be like having a new signing going into next season. He’s better than that level though.

Why?
He's the profile of manager the club might go for. Unless they opt for experience.

The price of success under KP has been a sanitised stadium and sanitised atmosphere. The loss of any decent reputation as a fanbase. Unforgivable.
Like many others, also cannot reasonate or associate with people in the fanbase who still use clappers, and that was the case even in the glory years. They tainted the success.

2nd half up in Block P around 30 lads appeared from nowhere and gave it a good go, on top of a load of faces from KO that we ain't seen up there before but they were very up for it.
Millwall fans were......Millwall fans, giving it loads but I've never seen an away section go from being so loud to a stunned silence after we got that goal.
Not sure if it resonated further around the ground but we were loud up there, both towards Rudkin, The Board and the travelling fans. Vicious at times and a few of our lot got ejected
One of the best atmospheres between 2 rival fans in a long time but it was restricted to the upper corner right down to the bottom of the closest rows of seats to their lot.
Credit to P block last night, heard the noise from there at the opposite end of the ground.

Clappers, phone lights, clapping Harry winks.
it ain’t the club I fell in love with.
It ain’t us. It ain’t Leicester at the core, but that’s been badly lost.

The last home game before League One football next season, and we’ve got people still using clappers and also deciding to wave their phones about with flashlights on.

2022/23 - relegation with the highest player wages and (squad value) outside the big six.
2025/26 - relegation with the highest player wages in the league.
-
This is exactly the type of game we'll lose, and that's not just based on this season. The 4-1 defeat to QPR in December could be repeated here.
-
The average attendance in League One in 2008/09 was 20,254. So it will probably be close to that again if not lower, given the context of the situation this time round.

Despite finishing above both of them last season in 18th, it felt like our club was in the biggest mess of the three. That's how it's turned out this season.

I'd forgotten but there was a similar incident in Bruges with Vichai. Sold our soul as a club and now dealing with the outcome.
Add the use of clappers to that as well.

The misspelling of Stolarczyk on an official podcast is just another symptom of how poorly the club is run across departments. Errors in emails have become common as well.

5000/1 Anniversary Match To Support Local Causes - Saturday 30th May
in Leicester City Forum

From Albrighton’s interview on the official site:
”Obviously, we knew that winning the league was a big deal, we knew that Leicester had a lot of fans and it's a one club city as well, so we knew the fans would come out, but I don't think we'd quite expected the amount that did. To be on top of that bus travelling the streets and not being able to see any part of pavement or anything, with people climbing up bus stops and lampposts, it was just incredible. I think it took us all by surprise a little bit.”
