  1. Through the lens of King Power and pals needing to leave our club, this appointment actually moves it on quite a bit. If his reign is as bad as we expect, it will help to turn a lot more on the fence City fans against the ownership as well as put KP under great media scrutiny and financial pressure. That sounds ok to me. If Martin proves us wrong and actually does a good job then we get some respite from the decline.

Mcarron doing absolutely anything of worth? Is he enployed yet

The guy has been in post for about 6 weeks and not a word out of the club as far as I have seen. To think that even loan players who don't make it off the bench get sit down interviews and the full social media treatment, and here is a senior position and nothing. He might have changed his mind for all we know and left. The club is a total shambles.

  3. Absolute shambles. This guy's 'philosophy', which he will change for nobody in any situation, is a weak imitation of a style introduced by Pep and other Spanish tactician. That philosophy has been moved on from because it is not pleasant on the eye and reduces fiitball to a game of dot-to-dot. Even if it was still en vogue, you need the players to execute.

It's such an unimaginative appointment that will drive a wider divide between the club and fans but maybe that's the plan here.

  4. I bet other clubs and agents just laugh at us for the contracts and wages we dish out. He is a £10k a week player at best yet he was on £50k in the Prem wasn't he? Maybe that is down to £20k or £25k now with relegation clauses but still totally undeserved. This club is the pits.

  5. We will continue to rot and decline while we have the same useless ownership and board. Until the vast majority of fans realise that and either get protesting or stop going, then nothing will change.

Agreed it’s such short term thinking. Don’t want to pay compensation but then happy to keep sacking poor appointments and spending a small fortune in pay offs. Surely the best option is find the best available candidate and hopefully have someone in place for 2/3 seasons who delivers success.

we don’t want to pay compensation to clubs so miss out on the likes of Corberon and Rohl to appoint the likes of Cooper, RVN and Cifuentes, because they are cheap free and available and end up getting relegated twice in a row, whilst throwing money about on dross like BDCR, Ayew, Eduoard, Skipp, Carranza, Aribo etc.

When will the penny drop and the people in power realise it’s false economies, get the right manager in and give him the power and support to rebuild and it all changes. The likes of Challinor, Fuchs etc won’t be on big money and by default won’t have massive release clauses.

Hire the wrong man which we will most likely do if we continue to shop in the bargain basement and we will be shelling out a lot more in pay offs before the season is out.

    Great post.

It wouldn't suprise me if it's not about paying out compensation, but more about not wanting the hassle of approaching someone in work. They would have to negotiate with other clubs for permission to talk to, they would have to convince the manager to leave and tell him what the plan was. KPFC do the easy thing that takes minimal  brain power, which is why we only appoint out of work manager's who want the job.

You’re giving him far too much credit.

That would require a level of planning and competence that he doesn't have.

The club isn’t declining because of some grand plan - it's in the pits because he hasn't got a ****ing clue what he's doing.

No i don't think there is a conscious plan to destroy us, he is just letting us rot.

  8. I am convinced that Top is trying to tank the club. He hasn't got the minerals to sell it up so is letting it slowly die. Administration will be his get out and the excuse will be Covid, PSR, the nasty FA and all the ungrateful fans who didn't support him. The fact he doesn't live in the same country as the club he is in charge of is the biggest clue.

  9. The club is in crisis and everybody has gone on holiday. It truly is laughable how bad this regime is. If there is any crumb of comfort to the pain we are feeling right now, is that they won't be here forever and they will either run out of cash or interest or even more likely that their hand will be forced by administration. Every day brings us closer to the end.

  10. These lot just don't care at all. No accountability, no communication, no sign of any work being done. The new man McCarron hasn't even formally been introduced to fans. That was an easy piece of business to get done to take the heat off Rudkin while he gets on with the graft of getting these big contracts off the balance sheet by offering players, discussing mutual terminations etc (lolz).

It feels like they have given up just as us fans have in trying to get them out.

The biggest endorsement to an ownership is ticket sales and while we will be naturally down on last season, the romoured sales are certainly not a disaster for the club. Another botched managerial appointment, a failure to rid many of the high earners, a poor start to the league might be enough to cut through the apathy and get a few more to turn. A lot of fans still think this is a blip and Top will turn it around.

Top hasn’t got a clue expecting more from him is like the KPFC fans saying give Top more time  after back to back relegations and numerous other antics.

It's expecting a response to a crisis from someone within the organisation.

The strange part of this is that you’re surprised by the lack of activity ?

I am a bit suprised really because even though they are clearly idiots, it is obvious to all that we are in a real mess and headed for administration. I understand face saving is very important in Thai culture so putting this right should be the highest priority. Having the club taken out of his hands by force and every assest being sold, all at the the place where his  father was both successful and lost his life, would be be the ultimate public embarrassment for Top wouldn't it? So yes, I am a bit suprised we are not seeing an urgent response.

  14. 17 days and nothing. I am finding myself getting angrier by the day. I mean, how is Rowett still here? Rudkin has either gone on holiday or they are undecided about GR leaving. This whole regime is just so w@nk. I can't see us avoiding administration but that's probably the only way we get rid of them.

  15. Has this Apichet fella ever done anything of importance at the club or is he just there for the good times like groupies at a 70's Top of the Pops recording? According to Copilot he provides "high-level governance, stability and strategic oversight."
