Hi guys. Rangers fan here. I don’t want to continue the narrative of negativity but thought I’d share my experience. It helps to know what to expect. Rangers are a club in turmoil. I started going since I was 7 and I’m now 25. We went to the very bottom, went to a Europa league final, won a league title but still somehow see ourselves levels below Celtic. It was too big a job for Martin. We signed Martin under the new regime to try implement a new style. At Rangers you get no time. I think he has big bright ideas but you need the very best players to do what he wants. You need playing centre backs and dynamic CMs. We didn’t have that, but he refused to find a plan B. We had talented players but you must win no matter the cost. If you want him to do well, you MUST ignore the horrible first half of the season. He showed at Southampton he can do alright with time. The problem is that you will lose your identity. It will become Russell Martin’s way of playing or nothing else. I wish you all the best. Big club, great fans.
