We just drew with essex. Needing just 1 wicket to win and judeging from our position at lunch today we really should have won But we have done well after our awful first innings

Malik has really impressed so far this season. Judgeing on his stats from worcs he looked very expensive but this season he has been great

A key game starting today as essex have a game in hand on us. With Essex's strong batting line up we will be able to see how far our bowlers have come on this season. This game followed by 2 matches at Oakham. Prefer them to be at Grace Road but what can you do.

I would really recommend working down there. I did my work experience there last summer and they to offerd me a job, but i couldnt take it due to the distance from my house. All the people down there are really freindly. And judging of our form you will be able to watch some good cricket

Middlesex finished the day on 257-5. Great last 10 overs for the foxes. Young bowlers i am told bowled with alot of heart, control and patience.

Ive got a feeling this season we might suprise a few people. I cant wait for tomorow it will be a nice break from worrying about Saturday. Up the foxes !!!!

1) Wednesday county start with a 4 day game against middlesex. 2) Not really to sure, the signings they have made look good. I think they will do ok in one day and t20 competitions but will maybe strugle in the 4 day games. Alot of presure will be on the batsman as the bowling looks quite strong this season.

This should be good for him. But would like to see him with the county for the first few weeks of the season as squad numbers are low and the overseas players wont be here for 2 or 3 weeks yet.

Has anyone been down to watch any of the pre-season friendlies ? Sounds like we have been doing quite well against notts. I went down last friday against worcs and the team looked very good with Du Toit hitting a very nice 100.
