I don’t think you’re understanding what I’m saying.
Rowett did a poor job I know.
But Marti did an even worse job IMO
That’s clearly not true. Rowett was worse statistically and visibly too. Remember he also effectively relegated Oxford in the same season. Top and Rudkin gave us less chance of staying up when Rowett was appointed.

He would’ve been aware he wasn’t staying. I certainly don’t have much sympathy for a manager who failed spectacularly in his quest to avoid relegation. His team earned significantly less PPG than the guy he replaced and he ultimately relegated two clubs from The Championship in one season. After that was he was doing punditry on the Championship playoffs as if his catastrophic season had never happened.

k'inell mate
Facts mate. If the club is successful this season, there won’t be many season tickets available next season. The only way there’ll be opportunities to get season tickets is if the club has another rubbish season and more pre existing season ticket holders give up.

Some of the reasons/statements in here convincing themselves why its good to renew, and then people will scratch their heads as to why we are targeting the likes of Russell Martin? 🤣 it really is incredible. Genuinely hope we appoint him would be hilarious and everything the fans deserve that still pour money into the club.
it's like pissing in a bucket with holes in and wondering why your feet are getting wet
Those that have cancelled their season tickets need the club to continue to fail to enable them to get season tickets again in the near future tbf. If the club are successful next season then there’ll be very few season tickets available for the following season.

I’m flabbergasted…… genuinely. It’s going to be such a shit season, so it’s going to be interesting to see what they all do when we stack it to league 2……
People make the usual mistake that social media reflects the majority of opinion, when online we all shout into an echo chamber - a bit like this thread!

I think LOROS do a fabulous job providing hospice care. It’s a bit harsh to shun such a good local charity because they once decided that your mates mate’s album wasn’t financially worth doing anything with!

Now this World Class opposition has been announced, ticket sales will go through the roof. I thought they’d go for obvious class prem players from the era like Cambiasso, Maybe a Gerrard, Ozil, Lukaku etc but no these guys set themselves a bigger target and have only gone and pulled it off. What a fkin list of the absolute crème de La crème of elite ex premier league footballers. I’m particularly excited to watch a midfield built 100% on tricks and skills - The holy trinity of Gosling, Whelan and Houlihan are finally together and the football they will produce will be worth the entrance fee alone and hopefully some fabulous all stars merch 🥰

Everything has fallen into place.
He must've known he was out of the door some weeks back.
I'd put my house on it that it was the very same week he really started to put himself around a helluva lot more than he usually did.
Those last 4 or 5 games he played I was even asking those around me in astonishment as to where this Daka had been all season? Some said he must've been given free reign by Rowett to chase down defenders and keepers, but it's apparent to me that it was him just showcasing and putting in the effort to appeal to future clubs to sign him.
it's no coincidence he decided to put a huge effort in once the writing was on the wall.
Yeh agreed. In those last 5 games he went from looking like a competition winner who had never kicked a ball in his life to a competition winner who had once had a 10 minute kick around at school at play time to make up the numbers but had never been asked again. Truly astonishing turnaround

Shame to get the confirmation about Jordan James. Someone is going to pick him up for £10m this summer and get a right bargain.
If it’s Cov I’m going head first off the top of holiday inn.
I doubt he’ll go to Cov, otherwise that will be 3 seasons in English football and 3 relegations for JJ.

Very little comment about Daka. Could have at least highlighted his 4 goals in Europe.
Similar when Praet left, they didn’t mention that pass he did that one time at Brentford away in the FA Cup.

Loving the commentary being slightly ahead of play on the bbc, it’s made an almost unwatchable game even less watchable

Be hilarious if it’s Will Still giving evidence
Will Still will still be receiving compensation for his sacking, with that in mind will he still give evidence? There will still be relevant staff there recruited by Will Still though. Whether the spy, (maybe originally recruited by Will Still) will still be employed by the saints will still presumably be being debated by the club right up until the EFL make a decision. Still, Will Still won’t be involved in this discussion. I’m sure he will still have some passing interest in it though.
It’ll be interesting to see if Will Still will still be willing to take on a new manager’s role elsewhere. Whether we’ll still be talking about Will Still in a year or so will still be open to debate.

United really really really want both Monga and Page
They will have a choice to play first team football at Leicester next season or take the big risk of being swallowed up by a Man U reserve system that has progressed very few players long term into the 1st team in recent years. Before anyone says football is a brief career and they should move - these pair have potentially got 18-20 years left. Thats a long time in any career these days!

A mate of mine had a CD in his car with a load of these on it from around the same time; some belters on it!
Lots of us got an original vinyl copy of This is The Season/The Tank years ago. Think they charged a quid. Someone found loads in a warehouse and they were sold off at filbert street as a charity match was being played out during the Brian Little era.

Not going to lie, if Ben Hamer is playing I’m all over this 😍
Back in the real world though, this shambles will probably end up costing the club money because, quite rightly, there’s barely any interest in it and they may as well pull it.
Surely it’ll be Mark Shwarzer? He was the back up keeper during 15/16. Hamer was frozen out by Ranieri.

Watching Leicester’s wingers in the past two seasons has been a truly miserable experience tbh.
