I'm sure there's several opinions and I'm not expert or informed enough to really know. I might need to read/listen more, as long as the tenets put forward are completely independent and entirely based on historical facts without prejudice or innuendo
I don’t think any argument or theory is put forth without such, nature of the game I guess. None the less, his lecture series are superb. The crusades series and the latter few which focus on focus salah ad-din are great.

What? Explanations and examples.
Did we not lead the world in so many areas of innovation, science, manufacturing, health and welfare, way back in history? This was not at the expense of other countries.
I don't dispute we were involved in the slave trade but to say the country "was built" on it is a bit disingenuous.
He’s not wrong bud. You can listen to dr Roy Cassandra on it. He’s a Middle East specialist. He’s got a few vids that’s mention the exact topic.

How many people could fit into New Zealand ?
I’m working on getting myself over there as we speak. One of the few advantages of being a RMN, they love us over there

It’s all that people are talking about here, but the reactions are intensifying into more and more outlandish takes. I’ve been sent videos from friends that look and sound like commercial aircraft over their houses. Though I haven’t seen anything myself, commercial flights aren’t being impacted, and pilots don’t seem bothered. Deductive reasoning says that the government likely knows what it is, and it’s likely something of their own creation that’s being tested.
We live 5 minutes from an AEGIS combat systems development/test site. If they’re not worried, I can’t be bothered.
That’s interesting especially with your location being so close. Any chatter over there about the drones over bases in the uk etc?
-
Anyone been following the strange ‘drone’ phenomenon in the states? Mainly NJ? I can’t actually decide where I sit in this but some of the stories are insane.

Btw the signs were there with Gregg Wallace. Very sad that he was sexually abused as a 8 year old which has probably left long-term scars. He's on his fourth wife, the last two are at least ten years younger and were both met via twitter
Child abuse doesn’t always mean you end up becoming a knob. It’s basically saying my past has scarred me, I can do what I want

We're all going to wake up mid-table in the Championship, with a 37-year-old Nicky Maynard leading the line and Preki as manager. Foxestalk will be delighted to discover that everything that they thought happened since 2013 was a dream - apart from Nigel leaving after his son's horny adventures.
The club has been sold to a Filipino consortium and we now play at the Jollibee Arena. Jon Rudkin remains director.
I love a good jolibee

Loved a bit of 40K - now it’s more painting and modelling. As mentioned above it’s mindful occupation and extremely therapeutic

You mean the Telegraph?
Yeah very sad. Their most recent podcast is heart wrenching.
Yeah the telegraph. Apparently the government are sending experts over to look into forensics and pathology etc. rare for 30 odd year old to suffer cardiac arrest.

David knowls has died. Extremely sudden whilst in Gibraltar. For those that don’t know him, he ran the podcast on BBC - Ukraine the latest. Oh and I believe he’d also been sanctioned by Russia. I’ve listened to that chap for a very long time. Sad.

What went on there?

Why? See my post above.
The fresher it is in your mind the more effective some talking therapy will help. I know from my own experiences. As I said in my previous post, we had immediate debriefing/talking following traumatic and difficult incidents. It was undoubtedly helpful.
I appreciate your insight bud.

I'm sure they are, since you do the nightshift.
Seriously though, hope you can get a block on that incident or learn to cope. Any trauma support assistance from work?
Yeah there is. Just need to see how the next week or two is. It’s still a little early to be looking at trauma work technically I guess. But I’m certainly going to monitor

I must admit I’ve dipped in and out over the years - I do struggle with the negativity, but I genuinely feel this hasn’t been a bad window.

He was never going to be a signing that got us all excited, but watching him you can see how he can get on the ball and impact games. Perhaps he will help bring the wingers into the game. If we are to stay up I think we need to get the best out of Abdul and Stef
Perspective and none reactionary … you sure you belong here

Copy from another thread as I’m feeling very sh!ty and sorry for myself. This is a bit heavy so you have been warned…. Trigger warning for RTA.
i attended a RTA as a bystander … was first one there and saw a lady under a truck with the wheel over her. . It is the most harrowing thing I have ever seen. She had several open fractures including of her skull and she had fat hanging out of her belly … I can’t un see it. For those that don’t know I’m a psych nurse by trade but this was well above advanced life support.
I don’t know if she’s made it. It was Fcuking horrendous

Sounds like the sort of thing nobody wants to see.
Hope the person in question made it and is stable. Hope you're okay too.
She was in critical last I heard, not hopeful though based on what I saw. I’m all sorts of fcuked up

Is there actually any interest! Or is it another Mahrez situation?

I was just pondering this in my head as I sit contemplating the literal end of an era. It’s actually heartbreaking to see how far we have come and fallen.
