Anyone outside of the US wont want them to win for many differing reasons. That said, they played well, kicked ass and it is what it is. It's one game but if that is anything to go by they should be going places this tournament.

Ya we are a bit sensitive with how the US govt is treating us lately so might be a bit more rough around the edges, it's all banter at the end of the day. Poch has done wonders for you guys. I'd say the US has always had good peices but never a manager that can make the difference. You guys will be fine without pulisic if he is injured. Yea, might miss him but I think you can weather it. If we had end product we could get somewhere. Not good enough to win a world cup but just need to keep pushing on. Multiculturalism and popularity of football has helped us big time in the last 20 years. Football is the most played game in Canada which a lot of people dont know. When I was growing up we had decent amounts of ethnic Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian where I grew up, and the games were brutal. My youngest brother played on the same teams that today are producing some of these stars. I loved driving him to his matches because seeing the talent against teams in Brampton, Woodbridge, Ajax or Mississauga etc was something to get excited about. Now, looking forward to England putting in a shift.

For those who don't quite understand this means so much to us who have been following Canadian soccer for decades. We have come so far and get getting better by the years. Proud of the local lads too.
