Highland Posted 5 September 2004 Posted 5 September 2004 Does anybody think that Bassett and Cork could be a big part of the problem..Cork and Bassett both ex-Wimbledon,both advocates of the long-ball.I know they don't set the way we play but they must have their say,if not Bassett then certainly Cork. Most managers have a decent assistant, maybe we need one who is more of a 'passing' type man, someone like McAllister. There seemed a bit of improvement when Cotterill was around last season.

McAllister would be a great replacement.
Guest Daniel Posted 5 September 2004 Posted 5 September 2004 Christmas?! We cant have this shit till christmas!
jimbo32 Posted 5 September 2004 Author Posted 5 September 2004 corky seemed to like the passing game when he was in charge at cardiff, and bassett wouldnt have any say on the training ground as his role is director of football .cotterill did a decent job when he came in and had some fresh ideas and personally id love to see gary mac back at the club his expierence and knowledge of the game would surely help us out .but i dont think weve got any money in the pot even for any additions to the backroom staff.

Guest Daniel Posted 5 September 2004 Posted 5 September 2004 McAllister would be a great replacement. You laugh at me and then say things like that, dear oh dear.
