Payg aint cheap mind i bearly use mine and still spend a tenner a week. Why don't you try and negotiate a better contract. I've heard of people doing this every year-usually your only contracted for a year.
King Kyle lcfc Posted 12 October 2005 Author Posted 12 October 2005 Thing is mate i negoriated a contract that was about £20 a month and now it seems to be going up to about £100 a month and i don't use my phone so on payg it would cost me about a tenner a month mate

Foxing_Around Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 As far as I know you can request that you number is changed to a PAYG, I seem to remember I was offered this option when my contract was up (last year). TBH I'd recommend contacting your phone networks customer services and saying you are thinking of cancelling your contract, in most cases they will offer you some better deals; I've heard of some people negotiating 500mins/1000texts for something like £30pm! (NB: If you were looking for a new contract then click the link in my sig, it's basically a comparison of all the best phone deals)
Blue Arrow Posted 12 October 2005 Posted 12 October 2005 Can't you like request it if you had your phone fort over a year or somehting

Is your phone unlocked? If you are happy with your current phone, the cheapest option is to buy a rental free SIM (you pay a monthly amount but then get it back). This is an example of a vodafone SIM: -1000 mins (off peak) plus 250 texts a month http://www.scancom.co.uk/product.php/958/4...6e444fd4e51cfa6 NOTE: if you buy this or other product, I strongly recommend that you make sure all details (prices charged etc) are correct and match the offer on the website. It is also ESSENTIAL that you do not misplace any of the paperwork or you won't get your money back. DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible for anything to do with this site and am in no way affiliated with them, other than having bought some stuff from them. PS: I note now that you specify keeping the same number and SIM. If keeping the same number is enough, then consider a cheap yearly deal (you can transfer your number to your new SIM). It has only cost me 35 pounds overall to get 50 mins talk time and 25 SMS a month - I transferred my old number to the new SIM at no charge and I have a spare phone... anyone interested in a Sony Ericsson T230 on T-Mobile?
