Thracian Posted 13 October 2005 Posted 13 October 2005 My oldest son tipped me off to watch Kinky Boots cos it is a story based on one of his clients and much of the filming took place close to where he lives. He promised it would be a good night out and so it proved - a sensistive, uplifting film dealing really positively with some tricky issues and leaving you thinking the world's a better place. Good reviews too, well justified. Have a great night if you go.

Thracian Posted 13 October 2005 Author Posted 13 October 2005 Where does he live then, as its supposed to be based in a shoe factory here in northampton Earls Barton and his offices are on the outskirts of Northampton. His wife had a house near the Kingsthorpe Golf Club. I have not confirmed with him but I believe a little of the filming was also done in Earls Barton (possibly the Church scenes).
