davieG Posted 31 October 2005 Share Posted 31 October 2005 According to this report, it certainly not the sound of a club trying to hang on to a player: Championship duo Wolves and Hull City have joined the chase to sign Wycombe striker Nathan Tyson. A number of clubs have expressed an interest in the former Reading hit-man after his goalscoring exploits for Wycombe this season. Tyson rejected a move to Sheffield Wednesday last week, while Nottingham Forest have also lodged an offer for the player. Chairboys boss John Gorman believes Wednesday did not do everything they could to sign Tyson and he also revealed Wolves and Hull were keen to sign the attacker. "I don't want to criticise Wednesday but when Nathan went up there he didn't feel they were dead keen to sign him," said Gorman. "Premiership clubs have asked about him and there has been interest from Glenn Hoddle at Wolves and Peter Taylor at Hull."
