You shouldn't worry what people think about your lyrics. Its what they mean to you that matters! Bono told Michael Stipe once (when he was having some trouble writing), that being a song writer is like being a bricklayer and the words are the bricks. You shouldn't ponder over them too long, or worry about them...just put them together and step back. You'll know which songs are good and bad...just don't expect a masterpiece every time. The important thing is that you keep writing, and keep expressing yourself.

No im not in a band, i did sing once at a gig though, but ive been writing lyrics for a fair while.
