Samu Posted 25 November 2005 Posted 25 November 2005 I went to see the band The Waiting Room featuring the legend Alan Fletcher aka Dr Karl Kennedy of Neighbours last night in Manchester. Was a great night out, I bought his album and some of my friends got to meet him (I sacrificed the chance to meet him so my lovely young lady friend could as I have already met him). I'll post some pics of the night if I get a chance to and when I can work out how to post pictures from my files I'll post the picture from when I met him in Sydney. Anyway he's touring the unis at the moment so if you want a good night out go and see him. He sings mainly covers and did a great acoustic version of Living On A Prayer.

We had to stand on tables to see. We also didnt have tickets so had to wait outside for 2 hours in the cold. Still was worth the wait
Samu Posted 25 November 2005 Author Posted 25 November 2005 yeah it was a bit stupid to stay outside that long, we just thought they were only letting in 50 people without tickets and they let in a lot more. Prices weren't too bad, well my first drink was but then i realised a pint of castlemaine was only 1.60
