Cos the matches last so long, or at least the last one did! Two hours 25 minutes or so on a freezing cold night, what with extra time, penalty shoot-out, extended injury stoppages, substitutions, half-time break, end of 90 minutes break, break between the half of extra time, break before the penalty shoot-out, break for someone to go to the loo...(sorry only joking).
