We’ll host our annual Service of Remembrance at King Power Stadium on Saturday 27 September, offering supporters the opportunity to come together in honour of loved ones who are no longer with us.
Service of Remembrance to be held at King Power Stadium
Event will run from 1:30pm-2:30pm on Saturday 27 September
Alan Birchenall, Steve Walsh and Ali Mauchlen to be in attendance
Led by Reverand Gwyn Davies, the service will be held in the Keith Weller Lounge from 1:30pm to 2:30pm, with Club Ambassador Alan Birchenall and former players Steve Walsh and Ali Mauchlen in attendance. Doors will open at 1pm, with guests asked to arrive via the media entrance. Tea and coffee will be provided.
This informal and dignified gathering provides a space for reflection, remembrance and comfort, offering a chance to celebrate the lives of those who held Leicester City close to their hearts.
On the day, supporters will also be welcome to visit both the Remembrance Garden at King Power Stadium and The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Memorial Garden, both of which will be open throughout the afternoon.
Speaking ahead of the event, The Birch said: “This service means a great deal to so many people. It’s a time to pause, to come together as a Club and to remember those we’ve lost.
“There’s a real sense of unity and reflection at the service and it’s something I’m always proud to be a part of each year.”
All times BST.
