Micky Posted 4 October 2004 Posted 4 October 2004 I've backed you for as longs as I feel i can. I don't dislike you, infact I respect you a great deal for what you've done but I'm afraid to say Micky I think it would be best to have a change at my club. My teams recent performances have been quite gutless. My expectations of leicester are I feel quite realistic. I understand that we as a club are a million miles away from premeirship football and that if we were to reach the promised land, survival would be quite an achievement. However, the calibre of players that have been brought into this club should be performing a great deal better that they have done this season. The budget available at leicester comparatively to other championship sides I would guess to be 'poles apart'. I'm not a fan who is jumping on the 'play the youngsters' bandwagon or indeed joining the 'nathan blake is appalling' brigade. I am just uninspired by our recent displays. During games I don't feel those hairs on the back of my neck standing up anymore. I just feel flat. In the past (I know I shouldn't harp back!) our lack of quality and creativity has been made up for by determination, bravery and balls. I don't feel as though we have this anymore. We don't sound like creating chances but we don't sound like we want to. I can take the lack of ability but I can't take the lack of desire. I want my team to be prepared to throw our bodies on the line. I don't want much, I just want some guts back in my team and I can't see any. I wrote this which much consideration. I hope you prove me wrong micky and I'll hold my hands up if you do but I just can't see us getting better. Sorry. Micky its time to go.
Micky Posted 4 October 2004 Author Posted 4 October 2004 Well it's 1-1 now and we could win! 24279 I knew this would happen. Bloody typical. I love you micky. I take it all back. Nah...still won't change my mind unless we improve a hell of alot.
Anish Posted 4 October 2004 Posted 4 October 2004 3-2 to Preston after THEY had gone down to 10 men - your original comments stand! Micky must go!
Guest Daniel Posted 4 October 2004 Posted 4 October 2004 Nice comment, not to sure about taking it back, even though we did score we still looked shit and wernt playing football. Adams out.
Leicester_Mad Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Anish do your opinions for Micky change every time a goal goes in? Micky has to go he did well when he wasnt asked to create a new team, but when he did (and thats what he said to judge him on) he just hasnt got the results or performances. As a season ticket holder and an away day traveller i have seen many games over the past 4/5 years and the standards have dropped so dramatically its stupid. Even 2 years ago the performances werent there but they were hidden by our results (which i will accept as results win points) but Micky has now taken us 1 step forward and 3 steps back. Time to get up and go Micky i see your stop just around the corner....
Anish Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Leicester Mad - yes I know it may seem like that on this thread. But I have been against Adams for a number of weeks now, I just felt that it would be harsh calling for Adams to go IF we had won yesterday...as it was looking likely until the 90th minute.

Guest Daniel Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Wouldnt of been hars at all, talking rubbish my friend. To beat 10 man Preston and play poor is terrible. Sack him.
Ash Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Blake is the worst player ive ever seen in a Leicester shirt
Anish Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Me too - although there were some people saying he had a good game yesterday (I can't comment having not seen it).
spirefox Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Blake was four times better than Wright," you don't know what you're doing!?!"
Scow Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Blake was four times better than Wright," you don't know what you're doing!?!" 24485 Blake played well around the time of him scoring, but was generally woeful.....
Jonbluefox9 Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Blake tried to hold upthe ball and bring other players into the game. Didn't work though. Scowy, notice you're from Sorrel like me.

Jonbluefox9 Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 It's even better now it has a leisure centre!
andy_croydz Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 blake wernt woeful he actually knocked balls on and tried more than usuall he won more headers than dublin does all game and almost scored 2 goals if it wernt for good keeping and defending.

His hold up play was Ok at times, but let himself down with loose first touches. Oh, and he's lazy...
Buzzell Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Possibly the best performance from Blake for City then?
Ash Posted 5 October 2004 Posted 5 October 2004 Id agree , Id profer to see Akinbiyi in a LCFC shirt than Blake
