City_4_Life Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 ....the spirit gone out of this club. The players have been playing with no passion and no motivation at all. At times they look like they play has individuals, for money, and not has a team. I know not to live in the pass but what has happened to the Leicester that never gave up, that always gave their all. The Leicester that when we would go a goal or 2 down we always had a big chance of still winning the game, because the team would play to the end with brlliant passion of wanting to win the game, and proudness for wearing the the fox upon their chest. But now, when we go down a goal, againts poor teams we are very lucky to get any kind of result. It was the never say die attitude or the "foxes never quit" quote that made this club big in the MON days, but now all of that seems to have just gone out of the window. Our club is in a very desperate situation at the moment and i'm for one is worried.
DaveyJ Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Mon Left True. It's never been the same since he left and I hoped CL might bring something of that spirit back, but Im worried that the spirit of MON days will not return for a long time.
