whothefoxthat Posted 26 January 2006 Posted 26 January 2006 Does anybody remember what happened to Forest a couple of seasons ago ? They were in a similar position to us, looking like they were dropping like a lead balloon, they got rid of their manager Paul Hart and in came Joe Kinnear, they managed to push themselves out of the relegation battle and looked good for promotion the following season.... Well we all know what happened there... I'm just a bit nervous that we do exactly the same, stay up this season and then get relegated the following season... Paul hart had done a pretty similar job to Levein, I just hope we haven't fooked this up, cos if we end up with Monkey Reid then we're defo in the muck... I don't trust the board to be honest, they were swayed by the fans, in my book that's a weakness I just pray they have a talented man in mind to come in and sort us out..... Levein has left good foundations and has helped the club on a financial basis. I hope he gets another crack somewhere and does a good job for them. We don't wanna do a FOREST !

We don't wanna do a FOREST ! how have you come to the conclusion cl did a similar job to paul hart one paul hart played positive attacking football and two lead thenm to the play offs all cl has done is destroyed this clubs spirit and im glad they pushed him before things got nasty he was the most incompetant manager in leicesters history

After watching the long ball hoofs from MA team, I was delighted to see Levein trying to get his team playing the ball on the floor. I'm not disagreeing that we should have sacked him, however he's left a good young squad capable of doing well. In my mind nowhere near as bad a manager as PT ! We all have our own opinions though.

Taylor wasted 20+million, and got us relegated ! Mmm let me think Akinbadbuy for 5million scored a hand full of goals in this division under Taylor, or De Vries for £50k and isn't that bad a player and has probably already scored more goals for us than the muscles ever did ! And YES to clarify, I did enjoy some of the football we played under Levein.

Strange world isn't when he was at Leicester Akinbye cost us £5M and Premeirship football and yet Burnley make a profit of £500,00 sellling him to Sheff U. Yes De Vries has scored goals but you need to score between 15 and 20 goals in the league to be considered even half decent in the Championship.
