Caretaker manager Dave Bassett and temporary assistant Howard Wilkinson are looking to inject some "zip and sparkle" into the Leicester side.The Foxes have endured a week of turmoil with manager Micky Adams and assistant Alan Cork quitting their posts on Monday, with Bassett - formerly director of football at the club - and Wilkinson installed as short-term replacements. Adams and Cork had left the club lying 12th in the Championship table and four points adrift of the play-off positions. And Bassett said: "I don't think the team has been consistent, I don't think individuals have been consistent and generally there hasn't been enough zip and sparkle about the team. "But the players have been positive, have got on with what we've asked of them and I'm delighted with the way things have gone so far. "Howard and myself have had a few meetings with the players to outline what we require and we've been implementing it in training," Bassett told the club's website. Sounds promising - Get prepared for a slick, intricate passing game then tomorrow.
