I would like to pay tribute to a radio legend who has done more for aslternative music in this country than any artist or record company. For those of you who don't know Peel was an original Radio One DJ and has broardcast all the way up to his death. His late night alternative show has brought to the attention many major artists including Nirvana, Joy Division and The Sex Pistols, all of which were given early air play by Peel. He would constantly play new, fresh and orginal music that could not be found anywhere else on Radio. For all those who listen to Punk/Altenrative/Grunge you owe some kind of a debt to this man.
