I think it's usually between 8-10 million or something in the UK alone that watch the final. It's in the top 3 of most watched events post-midnight I heard... No, the TV audience this year was only 2.6 million. a far cry from the sport's heyday in the mid-80s. Ebdon and Dott are undoubtedly talented players but both have the charisma of a dead fish. Let's just say it's VERY unlikely that any of their matches will ever be shown on pay-per-view channels. The game needs O'Sullivan to get his head together and provide some entertainment for the viewing public.
