Beatles or Stones?

The Beatles thread has inspired me, sorry!

I do like the Beatles, and you can't dispute the contribution Lennon and McCartney made to British pop music.

However, I prefer the Rolling Stones!

(I am aware the 1st Stones release was written by Lennon and McCartney!!)

I did have all 3 plus others but they were stolen by a friend (sorry exfreind)

Personally I can't choose between them as they are fundementally different in their music and lifestyles in those early years.

That's ok, I stopped crying after half an hour......

My dad has 'I wanna be your man' on vinyl, but not 'Come on'.

Although I no longer own a record player, I'm having his record collection!!!

I don't have much times for The Rolling Stones but I love the Beatles circa 1966/7.

Far from the best 60's acts though.
