Janx Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 I think he has finally lost it Playing various players out of position, Rooney, Hargreves, etc and NOT playing Walcott when he NEEDs a striker. I just think its one last two fingers up to us. Why oh why didnt we boot him prior Or NOT replace him till after the World cup. one or the other not neither!! Hey ho I can see Ecuador doing us today Rooney as a lone striker.....MADNESS!! Ps sorry if this has already been posted!

I mean "ROONEY" as a lone striker.... .ROOONEY!!!! has he never see him play... look what happened last time he played him out of position, he ended up decking a 93 year old woman in the stands out of frustration,,,(allegedly) He needs to be running on to the ball NOT with his back to goal, he wants to run with it, toy with them.. Prediction... 2 yellows for Rooney I imagine it depends on how high up the pitch Lampard and Gerrard play but if you are playing one up front that it has to be someone who can hold the ball up and bring others into play and I don't think Rooooooooney can play that sort of game!!
