Thracian Posted 1 August 2006 Posted 1 August 2006 Fears about plunging our Academy lads into the rigours of Championship football at such a tender age? I've just had an email from my teenaged son who has passed his driving test but does not own his own car and has only driven twice as a licence holder on UK roads. He's been staying in New Mexico and it turns out his fiance's mother has been poorly that he was press ganged into driving the all-female family's giant Winnebago motorhome from Albeguerque to St Antonio near the Texas coast. Turns out a storm was so strong that it threatened to turn the vehicle over. Talk about in at the deep end!. But he did sound pleased that he'd coped.
