Darren27 Posted 10 August 2006 Share Posted 10 August 2006 I think they should review all match prices. Reduce tickets to £12-£15 and see the stadium full, rather than £20-£25 and only just over half full. "Sell em cheap, stack em high" approach, better atmosphere in the stadium and would probably make more money on the gate aswell. Not too sure of the exact figures but from what I have been told there was about 8000 non ST holders at Saturdays game, assuming an average ticket price of about £22 that £176000. drop the ticket price so the average ticket is £13, if we get 5500 extra through the gate we have lost no money but the stadium is looking better, get 10000 extra through the gates (attendance of around 29000) and we would make £234000, Thats an extra £58000 each home game. A full stadium is going to be a lot harder for away teams and a boost for the players to see the place full. What have we got to loose?
