For me he is still an average league 1 central midfield player who has had too much hype after the world cup. Imagine if T&T hadn't reached the world cup, do you really think he would be playing in the Championship? I say no.
holly Posted 19 August 2006 Posted 19 August 2006 he was a bit non existant last night but the first game of season when cov was on telly, he was v good, maybe he was having an off day like many players seem 2!

He was in no way the best T&T player and only stod out because he is white. IMO he's playing above his level.

nhfox Posted 19 August 2006 Posted 19 August 2006 During the time Birchall was on the field, all Cov was doing was hoofing the ball. It wasn't until El Idrissi came on that they decided to pass the ball down the wing.
