golden gordon Posted 23 August 2006 Posted 23 August 2006 with the revelation that bob woolmer made the team swear on the koran that they did not cheat surely this should be taken a stage further i think games could be staged without the need for refs etc all sportsmen/women should swear on a holy book that they will never ever ever cheat or do anything underhand in a game or match and will always do the honourable thing if a player commits a foul etc he will immediately shout to the opposition to take a free kick or penalty and batsmen will walk to the pavilion if they know that the ball nicked the bat on its way to the catcher its so simple why has no-one thought of it before. can anyone see any pitfalls in this idea?
