Jonbluefox9 Posted 28 August 2006 Share Posted 28 August 2006 I don't think Fryatt's lost without Hume. The pair started down at Luton and at home against Burnley. Fryatt looked the better of the two in those games for various reasons but it wasn't working. Kelly dropped Hume for the Ipswich game but when he came on he linked up well with Fryatt for his goal. Having said that, the game had become stretched as Ipswich were pushing for an equaliser. Fryatt was awesome that day and did everything but score. Saturday was a bit different as Fryatt didn't seem to be putting as much effort in as he did against Ipswich or even Coventry0. I think Fryatt's started the season reasonably well, with whoever he's started up front with, just hasn't managed to score. The fact that he's not been playing with Hume isn't the reason he hasn't scored in my opinion.
