If Milan Mandaric Takes Over…

Let’s assume, for a bright moment, that uncle Milan comes in and buys out the useless shysters currently running the club, what happens then? What could we expect after a take over and the prospect of serious investment and what would be ideal or practical?

A few thoughts… we’d almost certainly need a decent experienced manager and Curbishley is probably the best out there while Newell might be tempted by a MM owned LCFC and the resources it might boast… at the same time we’d need some cash to invest in the team while cutting away some of the dead wood during the January window, my view would be that the midfield would need serious restructuring with the introduction of some creative, offensively minded players at the same time a look at the full/wing backs might be an idea as well…

But what does everyone else think?

…I know it’s a “flight of fancy†but its fun :)

Why shysters? They haven't done anything dodgy, as far as I can see. Maybe some poor decisions but by no means shady.

Apart from the deal they pulled to lift us out of administration, when they told creditors we could stay in the Premiership for FIVE years after promotion!

Fantastic sig though... :thumbup::)

I think Milan Mandaric could solve a lot of our problems.

1. He has money to give to Rob Kelly (or whoever else would be in charge) to buy a decent midfield. Even if it's just a few 100k its still better than nothing.

2. He could maybe interest a top quality manager to join us and save us from the mess that we are now in.

Surely if he came and bought the club there could be no negatives coming from it, only positive feeling and hopefully and more importantly, results and performances

Bit contentious that statement, someone's going to tear into it big time before long. :pinch:
