lildave3 Posted 15 October 2006 Posted 15 October 2006 Just saw the penalty decision and i think it was a bit iffy. I personally wouldn't have gave it as he couldn't get his arm out of the way. Just a good job it didn't cost the trotters else Big Sam would have been fuming. Two disgraces in that match: Newcastle's defending and the officiating.

How they managed to play in the premiership week in, week out, I'll never know. How tight-arse Bramble remains a first-choice CB baffles me even more! Insanity!

But the geordies have ALWAYS had crap defenders during their time in the Premiership. Remember Steve Howey? Or Nikos Dabizas?
