Rincewind Posted 31 October 2006 Posted 31 October 2006 I bought one today. Just going through all old stuff that I have accumilated. I still have gas and electric bills from four years ago. Hopefully I can clear a lot of stuff out and leave it for my friendly binman to take away. I am making a mess though with the access paper that falls onto the floor. It cost £9.99 from Partners. Not top of the range but it works. Although it did stop working and I thought typical anything I touch breaks down soon after I buy it. Just needed to cool down I think.

Cross-cut shredders shred better than paper strip ones but are typically more expensive. Always a good idea to shred only a bit at a time (not that most people do). You want to avoid melting down the metal bits. I did that with my previous shredder (an expensive cross-cutter by Fellowes). Luckily, it was still under guarantee, so I got a new one for free!
Rincewind Posted 1 November 2006 Author Posted 1 November 2006 another sort of poll. I've come across an old mercury that I had shoved in a carrier bag along with other stuff. It is dated July 28th 2003. In it is a report on a friendly that City played in Finland MA was the manager at the time and they won 8-0. Mick said he felt sorry for them because they had played us when we were on form. Would the paper count as unique value as it may be the only time they were on form. Now the question. To shred or not to shred? Scowcroft wasn't one of the scorers if anyones wandering. PS I have also found a couple of picture CD's on one of them are some photos of the last game at FRilbert Street. Think it was the Old versus the new team.. Was that where (Walsh ?) was allowed to take a penalty twice?
