lookwhaticando Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 "Glenn Roeder has stood up all his life and he will always stay standing up whatever happens to him." Glenn Roeder doesn't believe Glenn Roeder needs a rest. First sign of madness is to talk like Micky Adams. Next phases include growing a pair of buttocks on your chin and signing nobody younger than 35.
Guest Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 How about thinking you're funny when you are not?

gatesheadfox Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 Er...Pavel Srnicek may as well start calling him arseface now and skip the waiting
lildave3 Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 How about thinking you're funny when you are not? I found it funny...
Guest Posted 8 November 2006 Posted 8 November 2006 I found it funny... It was a dig at Mitchell. He used to think he was coming out with ascerbic comments in interviews; he didn't. The worst time was a Q & A evening. Now I know the Birch's sense of humour is probably suited to 1975, but you have to give it to him, he's quick. Adams was slower than a Slowcroft stroll. It was embarrassing. He was really trying. In both senses of the word.
Maybes Posted 8 November 2006 Posted 8 November 2006 Newcastle will get relegated this season. Glenn Roeder has this curse. He finished 7th with Watford & Gillingham and the following seasons he got them relegated. Newcastle finished 7th last year. Pure and simple they are doomed

lookwhaticando Posted 8 November 2006 Author Posted 8 November 2006 Nice statistics but Freddy Shepherd will soon give Roeder the chop if Newcastles form has not improved by christmas. Especially as Fat Freddy just gave Roeder the 'kiss of death' by publicly backing him.

lookwhaticando Posted 8 November 2006 Author Posted 8 November 2006 Levein got the 'vote of confidence' with city a few weeks before he got sacked It's generally a bad sign when your boss says something nice about you in public. Usually means they're already looking for a replacement. Enter Curbishley! Spooky, that... Curbs just turned 49 today...
