I believe the problem is not as simple as just replacing a boiler. At a guess , and it is a guess, purchasing and having fitted in your home , assuming it replaces a normal boiler , a combi boiler and the plumbing changes that would be needed , I would expect to pay around £1500.00. Neb where are you ? (quality bloke and a skilled plumber and gas technician) I dont think we in this country have a better home heating system than what we know as gas central heating. Combi boilers as I understand it are very efficient and in the long term save money on bills. All of the above is just my opinion .
Head Honcho Posted 23 November 2006 Posted 23 November 2006 I had a new one(Ariston) installed last year cost £900 for the lot. Don't quote me on this but I have a feeling they may have gone up in price due to the fact that by law all newly installed boilers must be condenser boilers
