Wycombe Fox Posted 6 December 2006 Posted 6 December 2006 If anyone is interested, British Eurosport will be showing over 14 hours of Live and Delayed coverage of England’s upcoming Pro-Beach Soccer Tour in Durban, South Africa. This is a huge boost for England Beach Soccer as it will be the first time they have been broadcasted live in England for over 3 years, despite being viewed in over 100 countries worldwide. There will be a great deal of interest from the Isle of Wight, as every member of the England squad plays in the matrix e-business IOW League. England kick-off the event on Thursday 7th December against Brazil, who will be playing for the first time since recently winning the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in November. On Friday 8th, Eric Cantona’s France will be their next opponent, who narrowly defeated England 8-6 to claim a place at this year’s World Cup. England’s final match will be against the hosts South Africa, who have been taking great strides in their game recently, they now have 5 Brazilian coaches and ex-international footballers in their side, such as Mark Fish who won 62 caps.
