Nathan_Ellington_WAFC Posted 2 January 2005 Author Posted 2 January 2005 in 1995 wigan athletic weren't even getting 2000 at home and now, less than 10 years they are getting an average of 10000 to me, that statistic is amazing, considering the most favoured sport is rugby and has 6 big prem clubs around it slating our crowd is all you can do, but we've heard it all before and we dont even care, but obviously you lot do our crowds are rising every season, yours has gone down 10k from last season so who are you to judge other peoples crowds but whos bothered, cos we're going up and you're not!

But a copule of your latest results prove that you aint the best in the division. Beat by Derby at home? We beat them away. Good luck with out Robbie Blake, he wanted to go to a club that will be in the premiership consitantly. Not a club who aren't even up yet.

Not just in a geographical sense but the fact is that we are a much bigger and well established club. You are superior to us at the minute by far and so again we are not currently rivals. I feel the true answer to this question is that perhaps you are genuinely struggling to find an online community of Wigan fans. 2. Why do you only post when you win? If you're going to post then support your club when they are doing badly. I have a season ticket and have seen Leicester play some absolutely appauling football for the calibre of squad which they have, on paper at least, but I still post regularly on other forums about them. 3. When are you planning to leave? Is it when the season ends??, or if you get promoted??, if you beat us at the Walkers??. I think many people are just wondering why the reason is that you're here. Wigan and Leicester are hardly connected. We don't care that our attendances are falling, it's because we have too many fairwhether fans which is another reason for our poorer atmosphere now we are at the Walkers. The faster they dissapear the quicker the Kop can re-unite. Still, at least we had one. Your attendances may be rising but are only doing so because of your success in recent years (a trend for every succesful club) and your atmosphere is just as poor as when you were average in the old divison 2 anyhows. If you go up and start filling your stadium next season then fair play to you. But the fans you're sharing it with wont have a clue how they got there.
