The Reverend Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 When i plug the charger into my laptop nothing happens, as if i havent put it in? Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong. Everything is as it was before and ive had no problems with this in the past. Another thing. When i push the charger into the laptop really hard it does (but when i dont push so hard it doesnt) work- but im not going to sit there for hours while it charges doing that am i? HELP SOMEBODY!!

The port that the charger connects to usually has 4 legs which are solded to the main board - It's possible that one or more legs have come unsolded or that the legs have bend and the port moved backwards What make / model is it?

It is a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo M1405. I thought it could need a new battery or something but i have no idea?

When i like go on to youtube or anything that requires flash, it says i need to download it.... So i download it again off the site - see the movie thing saying Completed- but it still dont work any ideas would help cheers!

Here are some pics of what I tried to describe (These are not on an Amilo) If this is what's happened to your notebook it will need a repair job
