I was a regular attendee as my son was in the youth team and made a couple of appearances for the 1sts. Saw Johno play a few times as weel. Used to be a good afternoon of sport.

I could never understand why they folded, wasn't it just after the won the Champioship?

I remember seeing them in front of regularly packed Saffron lane(held about 3000 I think) and then the then about mid 90's the attendances just seemed to drop to literally a few hundred so I presume that's why they folded.
