Geo V Posted 20 April 2007 Posted 20 April 2007 Ive not long got in but it seems that the Aussies are having a run fest, with 187-2 on board in the 29th over. they say you should aim to double your score from the 30th over on so maybe 400 is possible? It makes Englands abysmal efforts and tactics seem even more dickless doesnt it?

With batters like Gilchrist, Symonds, Ponting and Hayden I'm not surprised they post these totals regulary.

Apparently Gilchirst was out early for a single figure score but that doesnt stop them from having a lash. Most of these players were players we played against during the One dayers and the Ashes in 05 but the difference is the are breed as people to be confident whilst we are breed to be curtain twitching paranoid worried people. You see it with all England sports. We dont strut around thinking we are the best on the planet, we kind of cower and hope for the best. Jeez I wish that we had that edge in sports that the likes of the Aussies and Yanks have because talent wise for a small but heavily populated Island, we always produce amazingly talented sportsman.
