Flexx Posted 11 June 2007 Posted 11 June 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...utd/6742221.stm That is complete shite for Man U fans, anyone who buys a season ticket is automatically billed throughout the season and bought a ticket for cup games. Champions league, Fa cup, and League cup- season ticket holders have to go.
Simi Posted 11 June 2007 Posted 11 June 2007 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...utd/6742221.stmThat is complete shite for Man U fans, anyone who buys a season ticket is automatically billed throughout the season and bought a ticket for cup games. Champions league, Fa cup, and League cup- season ticket holders have to go. What a joke. If United want to stop people selling tickets on the black market and what not, this is a completely ridiculous idea. If people can't make it to the game they will sell the tickets for over the odds. They should alter the idea.
act smiley Posted 11 June 2007 Posted 11 June 2007 Its just an absurd method of artificially keeping ticket prices for cup games high, so they don't have any embarrassing scenes in when its too early in a competition for the gloryhunters to bother going and too pricey for most actual fans to afford. Makes reasonable sense from the club's point of view.
